Automate FT15 motor provides continuous power to outdoor shades and is an ideal solution when establishing electrical wiring during a renovation or new build.

Automate DC FT15 External Motor & Battery pack is the latest solution for powering Zipscreen outdoor blinds. This product duo provides the convenience of motorised shades to places where traditional power sources are unavailable.
Smart Home Integration
Connect your motorised Zipscreen to your home’s Wi-Fi network and unlock a whole new era of smart control options with Automate's Pulse 2.
The Pulse 2 establishes a bridge between your external shades and the Automate smart suite, allowing you to take advantage of App control, voice control and automation. Integrating directly with the world’s leading IoT platforms and assistants, Automate motors allow you to use Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or Apple Homekit and Siri to control your shades with natural voice commands. Timed routines adjust your shades based on your needs, regardless of your location.
Manual Control
Spring
Our spring control features a simple and natural manual movement. Six different spring sizes are available to align with the size of your shade. These springs keep the bottom bar of the system completely balanced and tensioned.
Simply glide the Zipscreen shade by hand, and it will move and balance to your chosen height. For extended reach and larger installations, our Spring Handle allows you to pull and push the shade from fully open to closed in one effortless motion.
Crank
A modernised take on a classic control type, Zipscreen's Crank Control operates your shade with just a few quick twists. The Crank is designed to move your shade up and down with minimal effort, eliminating the need to bend down or reach up. With a removable handle and customisable colours, the crank can be installed in a position that’s both comfortable and discrete.
